I've just had the best hygienist appointment with Vicki - not patronising, gentle and the best scale and polish ever! Thank you so much! Thank you also to the receptionists who despite staff sickness, still managed to keep the hygienist and dentist appointment next to each other to save repeat appointments. What great service!

Fantastic practice with genuine caring and professional staff. Claire went above and beyond to make sure it was clear what treatment I needed and the best options for me. In the nicest possible way I hope I don't need to go back until my next check up in a years time. Thank you Dental House.

Hi folks I just wanted to share my feedback after completing Invisalign that I was very impressed at the professionalism shown by the Dental House team and Claire as my dentist in particular. It became clear to me during the treatment that there were many aspects that could be done with varying degrees of sensitivity and detail, and that Claire had high standards. I am very pleased with the outcome. Thank you very much.

TEETH WHITENING EXETER
If you’re interested in improving the appearance of your teeth, you might consider a cosmetic treatment known as teeth whitening. This treatment involves the use of bleaching agents to help make your teeth brighter and whiter.
Our home whitening system can give you a brighter smile and whiter teeth, perfect for those all-important selfies or corporate head shots. If you want to whiten your teeth and have healthy, white natural teeth, our teeth whitening system is perfect for you.
Our teeth whitening products are designed to be safe for your teeth and will not cause any damage. Whitening your teeth at home is now possible with our easy-to-use kits. You can comfortably use them at home without any inconvenience to your daily routine.
At Dental House Exeter, our teeth whitening treatments harness the power of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to effectively remove stains caused by acidic foods and beverages, restoring the natural tooth colour for a whiter smile. Our at-home teeth whitening solutions, are designed by dental professionals to ensure safety and efficacy, minimising tooth decay and sensitivity often associated with teeth whitening.
When whitening your teeth at home, you may not see a sudden, drastic change in your appearance as it is a gradual process. Your dentist will ensure that whitening is suitable for you and that you receive proper guidance on how to effectively use your kit.
Our teeth whitening process starts with your dentist taking a 3D scan of your teeth to make you whitening trays that fit your teeth perfectly. A good fit is essential to achieve maximum results.
Once we have created your whitening trays, which look like retainers, we will show you how to apply the special whitening gel correctly so you can start the at home teeth whitening treatment immediately and achieve the beautiful smile you’ve always wanted.

Book your appointmentHow soon will the tooth whitening work?
Most patients find that the process takes around 2 to 3 weeks. Of course, this depends on how often you do the treatment at home and for how long each time. Your dentist will advise you on how long to leave the trays in and how regularly to get the optimum result.
How safe is tooth whitening?
Teeth whitening procedures are very safe when performed by a dentist in a professional setting. Our dentist will ensure that the whitening process used is appropriate for your teeth.
After your teeth whitening treatment, you may experience temporary sensitivity, especially when consuming hot or cold food or drink. This should go away after 48 hours. If you do have problems with tooth sensitivity after treatment, we advise you to take a break for a few days.
How white will my teeth be after treatment?
All teeth whitening systems will achieve a natural looking result. If you are wanting more of a Hollywood look we may recommend veneers or composite bonding over whitening. Whatever you are trying to achieve our dentists will tailor a plan that suits you.
How long does the whitening effect last?
Over the years, we have found that for many patients the results last up to 5 years. Teeth whitening times vary from patient to patient, and the effect can last longer or less than five years, depending on your teeth and consumption habits.
